Skin Whitening

Dark skin is called Hyper-pigmentation. It is a condition in which excess melanin is produced by the melanocytes in the skin, resulting in a blotchy appearance. If the melanocyte is exposed to a source of trigger over and over again, it may become permanently damaged and remain in an overactive mode. This means that the cell will always produce excess melanin, even when the trigger stops. This is particularly true of environmental damage that produces age-spots. Hyper pigmentation ranges from simple freckles to the more stubborn type known as Melasma. This is where the role of skin analysis comes into play. Once the cause is detected, the treatment can be formulated accordingly. The best way to correct hyper pigmentation and maintain results is by affecting tyrosinase activity in the cell. Tyrosinase is an enzyme in the body that is necessary for production of melanin in the cell. Thus what you need for skin whitening is a treatment plan that treats the cause, along with antioxidants and skin lightening external applications which can inhibit tyrosinase activity.
